    Q. What criteria are used to determine eligibility to participate in the exchange as a buyer or a seller?
    A. IPE has a short registration that needs to be completed online. Once submitted IPE management will review and authorize your status to be a “buyer member” or a “seller member.” Approval is typically the same day or within 24 hours of submission.
    Q. Can a member be both a buyer and seller?
    A. No, the exchange operates as a direct exchange linking sellers with buyers. This approach is intended to provide both seller and buyer with a “direct connection” and the elimination of transfer or brokerage fees associated with intermediary agents “in the middle” of each transaction.
    Q. Are there any fees or dues associated with membership?
    A. No, the only fees or costs that are involved are typically borne by the buyer for Pecan, transportation and/or any other fees associated with the procurement and delivery of the Pecan.
    Q. I like the idea of the virtual exchange, but is it possible to communicate with a live person if I have additional questions or need help with either buying, selling or sourcing Pecan?
    A. Yes of course, IPE has a knowledgeable and qualified staff available to help you by phone, fax and email. If you would like, we invite you to meet with us in Jacksonville, Florida or arrange a convenient time and place to meet with you at your place of business.
